Get answers to common questions about Chin.

Most clients enjoy three to six weeks of smoothness after chin waxing, depending on individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can lead to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments.

You may feel a quick sting when the wax is removed, but techniques and soothing products reduce pain. Avoid caffeine before your visit, consider an over-the-counter pain reliever if sensitive, and communicate concerns to your technician.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy creams, retinoids, or sun exposure 24–48 hours prior. Trim very long hairs to about 1/4 inch if needed and inform us about medications or skin conditions during check-in.

Avoid heat, strenuous exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers or our recommended soothing gel and lightly exfoliate after 48 hours to help prevent ingrown hairs.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, especially with coarse growth. Prevent them with regular gentle exfoliation and hydration. If ingrowns occur, professional extraction or topical treatments can help; seek advice for persistent issues.

Clients with active acne, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or on certain medications like isotretinoin should avoid waxing. Pregnant clients should consult their doctor. We provide consultations and patch tests for sensitive skin.
